The Cthulhu Calamari Special

At first I wasn't going to submit this here because of the content, even if it is within DA's rules, but I figured anybody bothered by it can just grow thicker skin and Bite Me. Or just learn to use the little arrows or the X at either upper corner of their screen.

But I was not entirely without consideration. I made sure to censor out the particularly unsettling parts that some might find offensive. There is an uncensored version, but I'm afraid everyone here on DeviantArt will just have to settle with this one.


Okay, enough Comedy, time to tell what possessed me to draw such a thing in the first place.



'Nuff said. But I'm going to tell more anyway, so Nyeh! This drawing was done for her as a way of my thanks for her entertaining influences on me for most of this year. This was the first BIG step for me to get over my stupid personal issues, have fun drawing something I normally wouldn't have drawn, and at the same time create something enjoyable for the person it was made for.

And as an extra bonus, this was also done as a Birthday Present for her. I actually forgot that at the time I was working in ideas, I would have drawn this anyway, but realizing her birthday was coming up gave me a motivational push and gave me a sense of a deadline which is always good practice.

Much of what is in here was actually by her request. The only idea I really had was the concept of Cthulhu-on-Mngamojemo Rule 34, and the Composition after everything was decided. She decided the Champagne and the Hershy's Brand Dead Baby Sauce being licked off her naked body (that's what the chunky stuff is by the way, just pointing that for those who thought it was Aunt Jemima's Toilet Cleaner or something).

This was also good practice for me to not get "carried away". It's provocative, but not "too far". I didn't exaggerate any body parts, I didn't make it overly sexual, and in a strange, dark way, I even made it classy (champagne will do that).

At least with Women anyway. For Men, I'll get as carried away as I want. They don't call him "Great" Cthulhu for nothing! Maybe next time I'll put a little Party Hat on the end of it...wherever the Hell the end of it is, anyway.
