Description
This is a birthday piece I've been working on for well over a month now. And due to a combination of rough early concept stages, unfamiliar experimentation with new digital tools, and lack of focus and motivation due to personal difficulties the passed 2 weeks, I missed the deadline, but figured I'd at least get a presentable preview of the painting to be shown for the birthday today.
This likely isn't even one-tenth of the overall drawing. It's a huge, complex piece, but that's Lovecraftian influence for ya.

It's very promising. I love the one yellow eye of the shoggoth, which is adorable. One tiny critique: my lips need to be a bit bigger. I've got a very "prominent" jawline, so my face wouldn't look balanced without somewhat plump lips. The current proportions make me look somewhat infantile, mostly because my eyes are LARGER than my lips: my eyes are exaggerated by the makeup, but they're actually quite small.
I do appreciate that you've taken time to observe my features. Too many artists draw women with a preconceived notion of a face, which is why so many female superheroes are distinguished only by the hair.
