Baby Bender Draft

Rough Draft linework of my new little project.

After watching yesterday's Futurama, my heart just simply melted at that ending, and I was overwhelmed with this urge to draw Baby Bender because of it.

He's just so cute and the ending was so sweet, and it's so wonderful knowing that even these somewhat questionable Comedy Central episodes of Futurama can still bring up powerful emotions. This one in particular was right up there with the ending of Leela's Homeworld which was so touching and happy.

Already this episode has struck big with the fans. The song "Little Bird" that played at the end is now increasingly popular, and like many, I went to Youtube to look it up:

At the time of this post, that song has just under 5,000 views. 12 hours ago, it was at less than half of that, and it was already Flooded with Futurama fans looking up the song because they heard it in the episode.

It's really amazing what a great TV show can do.

Great is OK, but Amazing would be Great!
